Thing 11--LibraryThing

Looking at the recommendations for the titles I put in my library, I think this would be another R.A. site to offer. I had read a majority of my recommendations, but a few of the others are on my "when I retire and the book is out of print" reading list. The Librarians who love LibraryThing discussion group is the largest, but the topic "alternate call numbers in the 050 field" made me click out in a hurry. Thing 10--Generator

I didn't realize how far I'd gone wrong in life, until the generator told me that "waiter" was my perfect job, but what do they know in Australia anyway. I'll try and add the picture generated of my fulfilled waiter-self.

Things 8 and 9 RSS Feeds

Since I have never thought of creating a blog, it makes sense that I have never taken the time to view many (except Erica H.'s--always a good laugh there). Since creating my bloglines account 3 weeks ago, I've looked at it a total of one time--right before creating this post. I need to be more creative with Topix.net and it's keyword search for work-related topics. I found it gave me a nice mix of articles on one of my favorite non-work topics--Italian soccer player Fabio Cannavaro (the one on the right). Could be just as fun and voyeuristic as People magazine...
