Things 3-7 Tech post

I am not one for randomly exploring the Internet, so I followed the given links and successfully added a picture with a sayings bubble. Pretty neat, but I find myself slightly disturbed at being able to look at other people's photos and actually not that interested (but then I'm not interested in reality TV either). I like technology that makes my life easier, such as email, and that doesn't add layers of complexity or content overload. For example, Thing 1 pointed out a YouTube post on the basic rules of rugby which is interesting and helpful as long as I'm not the one spending hours surfing just to find it...

Thing 1 and 2

It seemed appropriate to have kids as my blog theme. Not only do I have a Thing 1 and Thing 2 at home, but they know as much about technology as I do about chocolate (that's alot). Thing 1 is always showing me the "coolest" on YouTube and Thing 2 just created a Powerpoint in the 2nd grade. I need much more than 23 things to keep up.

As to the 7 1/2 habits, I skipped through the slides, reading the sidebars, impatient with the slow narration, so I heartily accept responsibility for my own learning. I think Habit 6, if slightly reworded, is my challenge. I can find the technology that answers my question, but how do I apply it (or find the time to apply it) to help with my workload?
